2025 PSL Transfer News: Wish-Lists For The 2024-2025 PSL January Transfer Window
The transfer window for the 2024-2025 Premier Soccer League (PSL) opened on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, allowing PSL teams to enhance their teams with new signings. Ngcobo2010 Sharp Eye has reached out to various fans from different PSL teams to inquire about their wish lists. To our surprise, none of them mentioned Ashwin Appollis.
Steven Mazamane, also known as Vox, a well-known fan of the Orlando Pirates, shared his wish list with us:

“At Pirates, we require two forwards, specifically Wonderboy Makhubo from Magezi Football Club, to boost our attacking lineup.” We also require Thabang Matuludi from Polokwane City to strengthen our defense.
Tshepo Kakora, who plays for Magesi Football Club, is another player I’m interested in, as I have observed him multiple times. He is quite astute in the midfield, robust and persistent; even when they are trailing, he never surrenders that one,” Vox concluded.
Musa Dladla, famously known as Vosho, is a devoted supporter of Kaizer Chiefs who has also shared his views:

“In my opinion, Kaizer Chiefs should concentrate on the players currently in our squad, as we brought them in to perform for the team; they just require the right motivation to elevate their performance and enhance their gameplay.” Stated Vosho.
“However, we need to acquire a striker, but not within South Africa, rather abroad, as we all know that we continue to face challenges with strikers nationwide. As Kaizer Chiefs, we find it challenging to score goals and require a natural striker with skills.
“In my view, Kaizer Chiefs should concentrate on the players we currently have, as we brought them in to perform for Chiefs; they merely require the right motivation to enhance their performance and elevate their game.” Stated Vosho.
“In the goalkeeping area, I truly hope we can rehire the German Goalkeeper Coach Rainer Dinkelacker or elevate Itumeleng Khune to become our Goalkeeper Coach as I think he has learned from the best. I am not implying that our goalkeepers are poor, but they lack proficiency in their role. I hope we can find someone with skills similar to Rowen Williams, who plays for Mamelodi Sundowns, so our team can excel defensively.
Defensive players:
“I can’t specify that we desire this specific defender because, in my view, all quality defenders are with Sundowns, and Kaizer Chiefs cannot acquire them from Sundowns unless they are free agents.”
“My general perspective is to utilize our existing resources and also attract potential players from the DSTV Diski Challenge and our development programs.” concludes the King of Vosho.
Diana Matli also known as Lady D-President Ya Strata, a devoted supporter of the Orlado Pirates, also shared her perspective with us:

“Up to this point, I am somewhat satisfied with the squad we currently have at Pirates, but the only area that requires improvement is the striking department. Locally, no one can take that place.” stated Lady D. “I adore Ademola Lookman, who plays as a forward for the Serie A club Atalanta and the Nigerian National team. He is skilled at scoring goals, consistently netting hat-tricks.
Johannes Modiba, a well-known Amakhosi supporter, also shared his wish list with us:

“I hope Chiefs will recruit Veli Mothwa, midfielder Nduduzo Sibiya from Golden Arrows and striker Yanela Mbuthuma from Richards Bay FC.”
“I still believe Veli Mothwa is a talented goalkeeper and with his experience, he has room for improvement. Take a look at Sipho Chaine from Orlando Pirates. He was quite inconsistent at his former clubs, but today he is the main goalkeeper for Pirates. Nduduzo Sibiya senses a gap created by Gaston Sirino, while Yanela Mbuthuma enjoys overpowering defenders in the area and can connect effectively with Ashley Dupreez,” concluded Johannes
