Kaizer Chiefs DDC Team Clinch Historic First Title After 3-0 Victory Over Magesi FC

History was made this weekend as the Kaizer Chiefs DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) team claimed their first-ever DDC title, defeating Magesi FC 3-0 in a dominant performance at Dobsonville Stadium.
Led by the experienced coaching duo of Vela Khumalo and Dillon Sheppard, the young Amakhosi delivered a professional and commanding display to secure the championship before the final stretch of an intense season. Goals from the promising Chiefs youngsters capped off what has been a competitive and thrilling campaign.
Kaizer Chiefs went into the match knowing that a win would seal the title, with last season’s champions Stellenbosch FC still breathing down their necks in second place. The pressure was immense, but the team rose to the occasion, showing maturity, composure, and flair — traits that have defined their season.

Coach Vela Khumalo, who has been instrumental in shaping the team’s winning mentality, praised his side after the final whistle and spoke highly about Chiefs Chairman, Doctor Kaizer Motaung:
