
Blom Is A Khosi Again
Kaizer Chiefs have added Njabulo Blom, a former midfielder back to the team after spending to in United States of America playing for St. Louis City, to further bolster their team.
Blom, who is set to provide the Chiefs one of their most anticipated seasons ahead, joins Amakhosi on a one-year loan. After playing for the Kansas City Chiefs for four seasons, Blom, now 24 years old, moved to St. Louis and made an immediate impression in Year 1. The midfielder from South Africa made 26 appearances overall and started 21 games.
Kaizer Chiefs Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Junior expressed his excitement to have brought Njabulo back to Naturena. “We are excited to welcome Njabulo back to the team. His experience in the MLS and his familiarity with our Club ethos make him a valuable addition to our squad. Back in the United States of America; Njabulo’s team ST. Louis City Sporting Director had nice words to say to him. “We wish Njabulo good luck during his loan in South Africa,” Sporting Director Lutz Pfannenstiel said. “He will have a great opportunity to get more minutes at a competitive level and help continue his professional growth. Kaizer Chiefs is one of the top clubs in Africa.”
Njabulo conveyed his own enthusiasm for going back to Chiefs through Amakhosi website. “I am delighted to be back at Kaizer Chiefs, a Club that holds a special place in my heart,” he said, “and I look forward to working with the team and contributing to our success under Coach Nasreddine Nabi. The support from the fans has always motivated me, and I can’t wait to play in front of the Khosi nation again.”
