Chiefs Targets Velebhayi

Kaizer Chiefs are pursuing Asanele Velebhayi of Cape Town Spurs FC after acquiring goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari from TS Galaxy FC and defender Bongani Sam from Orlando Pirates. Velebhayi competed in the Hollywoodbets Cosafa Cup in 2024 as a part of the Bafana Bafana team hosted in Gqeberha.

As of right now, he is under contract with Spurs, who have been demoted to the ABC Motsepe League. During the 2023–2024 Premier Soccer League season, the 21-year-old Velebayi played 23 games for his team.
