Hugo Announce Preliminary Bafana Squad

On 19 August 2024, it was announced that Bafana Bafana is set to play against Uganda at Orlando Stadium on 6 September 2024 for the 2025 Afcon Qualifiers. The preliminary squad of 38 players for this match was revealed by Bafana coach Hugo Broos on 20 August 2024.

The squad that was announced will be reduced to 23 players who will play against Uganda on Friday, 6th September 2024 at 18:00. This will be followed by a game against South Sudan on 10th September 2024, in South Sudan.

Dr. Danny Jordan, the SAFA President, and Ms. Lydia Monyepao, the CEO, are encouraging fans to show up in large numbers to support the national soccer team, Bafana Bafana.

The gates will open at 3:00 PM on Friday, September 6th, 2024, and tickets cost R30 for children, scholars, and students, R60 for adults, and R140 for families (2 adults + 2 children).
