January 2025 Betway Premiership Monthly Awards Winners

Andy Boyeli, Muhsin Ertugral, and Lucas Ribeiro Costa have been officially named winners of the Betway Premiership monthly awards for January 2025.

The trio received the Betway Premiership Player of the Month, Coach of the Month, and Goal of the Month awards after a judging session held by a panel of PSL-accredited football journalists and broadcasters on Wednesday, February 5.

Sekhukhune United FC forward, Andy Boyeli, scored four goals in January, including one against AmaZulu FC and a remarkable hat-trick against SuperSport United FC, thus earning him the well-deserved Player of the Month accolade.

The newly appointed Coach of Cape Town City FC, Muhsin Ertugral, was awarded the January Coach of the Month accolade.

Ertugral secured three wins in four matches, including back-to-back victories against Soweto powerhouses Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, positioning him at the top ahead of formidable rivals like Lehlohonolo Seema from Sekhukhune United FC and Phuti Mohafe of Polokwane City FC.

The Betway Premiership Goal of the Month honor was awarded to Mamelodi Sundowns FC midfielder Lucas Ribeiro Costa for his impressive acrobatic goal against Magesi FC in Polokwane.

Ribeiro’s goal narrowly surpassed the fierce contest from Mfundo Vilakazi’s individual effort in Kaizer Chiefs’ triumph against Sekhukhune United, along with Devin Titus’ precise finish for Stellenbosch FC in their win over AmaZulu FC.
