Mokoena Teboho Pledged Not To Do Any Media Interviews
South African supporters, especially those of Mamelodi Sundowns, have mixed feelings about the ever-smiling wonder Teboho Mokoena. This comes as he addressed the media prior to their final 2025 AFCON qualifying game against South Sudan, which is scheduled for Tuesday, November 19, 2024, in Cape Town.
When a journalist asked him about his emotions after he scored two goals against Congo in Gqeberha on October 11, 2024, he stunned his supporters with his response. “I really enjoyed it. It was fully packed. I don’t play a lot of games in a full (fully packed) stadium.” chuckles Mokoena. “So I had to enjoy it.” He reacted. When a fellow journalist warned him that fans would misquote him, he responded: “Will they misquote me? No they won’t! But am being honest. Am not lying.”
