Moses Mabhida Stadium To Host MTN8 Final

The PSL has issued a statement on Wednesday, 11 September 2024 regarding the venue of a much anticipated MTN8 final.

“There was a lot of interest in the hosting rights for the 2024–2025 MTN8 final, and several provinces, including Gauteng, KwaZulu–Natal, Eastern Cape, and Mpumalanga, submitted offers. The province of KwaZulu-Natal was granted the rights following an assessment by the PSL Executive Committee at a special EXCO meeting this afternoon, which also took the sponsor’s feedback into account.” PSL stated.

It was announced that Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban will host the much awaited MTN8 final between Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch FC on Saturday, October 5, 2024. The PSL will provide further information soon about kick-off time, ticketing, and other logistical elements.

On Monday, September 16, 2024 at 20:30, the official home-and-away draw for the championship match will take place on the well-liked TV sports program Extra-Time, LIVE on SuperSport PSL Channel (202).
