Promotion Stakes Are High
As with previous play-off formats, the competition will follow a round-robin point system, where each team plays four matches, and the team with the most points at the end will earn promotion to the Betway Premiership.
They will join Durban City FC, who earned automatic promotion after finishing top of the National First Division (NFD).
Cape Town Cityβs Last-Chance Saloon
Cape Town City find themselves in an unusual and uncomfortable position after failing in their protest against Supersport United, which could have kept them in the top flight. With their appeal dismissed, they now have to fight for their survival on the pitch in this high-stakes mini-league.
Orbit College, looking to continue their fairy-tale rise, and Casric Stars, determined to finish the job after falling short last season, will be equally hungry.
With all fixtures kicking off at 15:00, fans across the North West, Mpumalanga, and the Western Cape can expect a tense, dramatic June filled with passion, desperation, and dreams of top-flight football.
