Richards Bay FC Officially Announced Six New Players

On July 10, 2024, Richards Bay FC announced the signing of six players, including former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siyethemba Sithebe.

Thabiso Kutumela of Mamelodi Sundowns, Tlakusani Mthethwa and Keagan Allan of Moroka Swallows, Fezile Gcaba, and Sbani Khumalo are the other five players.

Additionally, Richards Bay FC announced that Phakwe Gas will be the club’s new sponsor. The two decided on a R100 million three-year sponsorship. The R100 million will be split in half. Each season, the club is expected to collect R20 million. A total of R40 million is set aside for training facilities and other supplementary resources.

The club also revealed that head coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi’s contract has been extended for an additional two years.
